Warranty Coverage: Only covers malfunctions caused by defects in original manufacturing processes and materials; excluding problems caused by wear parts, human-caused damage, unauthorized modifications, or failure to maintain services according to regulations.
Definition of Wear Parts: Tires, brake pads, various filters, clutch plates, wipers, belts, and other consumable parts are not covered by the vehicle warranty.
Determination Principle: The earlier of the year and mileage shall prevail; all warranty services are only available at FAW Jiefang authorized overseas service outlets.
1. Highway Tractor Vehicles (4×2 / 6×4 Long-Distance Tractors, J7/JH6/J6P, etc.)
Basic Warranty: 36 months (3 years)
Segmented Warranty:
Months 1–24: Warranty on the entire vehicle system (including parts + labor)
Months 25–36: Warranty only on the three major assemblies (engine, transmission, drive axle)
2. Engineering Vehicles (Dump Trucks, Concrete Mixers, Sanitation Vehicles, etc.)
Standard Warranty: 24 months (2 years), unlimited mileage
3. Special Purpose Vehicle Chassis
Standard Warranty: 24 months (2 years)
Eastern Europe/Russia: Tractors 3 years unlimited mileage, Engineering Vehicles/Chassis 2 years unlimited mileage
South Africa: 6×4 Tractors 3 years/300,000 km (whichever comes first)
Latin America: 2-year vehicle warranty, powertrain extended to… 3 years
IV. Value-added services: Optional extended warranty packages are available, which can extend the warranty period to 4-5 years. Package details and pricing are subject to local dealer policies.
